This policy explains what data the Estimated Delivery Date — ETA app (“the App”, “we”, “us”) accesses and stores when you install it on your Shopify store, and how we handle it. We’ve built the App to use as little data as possible.

The short version

The App stores only your store-level delivery settings (such as processing time, cut-off, working days, and display styling) and the authentication tokens required to operate inside your Shopify admin. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your customers’ personal data. All delivery-date calculations shown to shoppers run in the shopper’s own browser.

What we access and store

  • Store configuration. The delivery rules and design options you set in the App. These are stored as an app-owned metafield on your shop within Shopify, and a copy of the authentication session in our database.
  • Authentication tokens & shop identifier. Issued by Shopify so the embedded App can function. Stored securely in our database.

What we do NOT collect

  • No customer names, emails, addresses, or order contents.
  • No payment information.
  • No shopper tracking. The storefront widget sets no cookies and performs its date calculations entirely in the visitor’s browser.

How we use data

Solely to provide the App’s functionality — saving your settings and displaying delivery estimates on your storefront. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Sub-processors

We use reputable infrastructure providers to run the App: a cloud application host and a managed PostgreSQL database. They process data only to provide hosting and are bound by their own data-protection terms.

Data retention & deletion

When you uninstall the App, we delete the authentication/session records we hold for your store. We also honor Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact); because we store no customer personal data, customer requests have nothing to return or erase, and a shop-redaction request removes any session data we hold for that shop.

Your rights

You may uninstall the App at any time to stop all data processing and trigger deletion of your session data. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@jumpweb.digital.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
